Mr. Colland has nine years of experience in commercial, residential, and municipal construction.

Role With Entellus Construction Services LLC:

Handles the development budgeting, estimating, bidding, awarding and administering of subcontractor contracts for the LLC. Mr. Colland is also active in the construction phasing and the overall management of the subcontractor teams to complete the physical construction.

Experience Summary

Professional experience includes managing multiple land development projects.  Mr. Colland has been responsible for bidding, evaluating bids, and awarding construction contracts to sub-contractors to complete necessary disciplines of work.  He has established and maintained construction schedules; coordinated necessary survey, City inspections, sub-contractor disciplines, and utility coordination; monitored construction progress, evaluated monthly billings, minimized and eliminated potential budget impacts, maintained project correspondence between owner, engineer, city, construction manager, surveyor, material testing agency, and construction management firm; and obtained final approval of land development from corresponding agency of authority. 

 Mr. Colland has managed multiple capital improvement projects from inception to construction award.  Responsibilities include project scoping, design fee evaluation and negotiation, contract agreements, design review coordination, utility coordination, construction estimates, project scheduling, design and construction bid advertisement and award.  His experience includes major arterial and intersection improvements, water and wastewater systems, and public facilities, as well as working with alternate delivery method contracts. 

 Mr. Colland has performed construction inspection and resident engineer functions for various municipal projects in Glendale, Mesa, Peoria, Scottsdale, Sky Harbor Airport, and Williams Gateway Airport.
