Entellus has a new opportunity for a Land Development Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of project types including residential subdivisions, multi-family, commercial, and industrial sites. The successful candidate is accountable for project performance, ensuring quality control on deliverables, and maintaining strong client relationships through quality deliverables and professional service. This role also provides direction and guidance to junior engineers and technicians assigned to the project manager’s team. This individual will report to the Land Development Discipline Leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Prepare and manage monthly client invoicing.
  • Manage and mentor project team.
  • Manage a variety of land development projects through the entire lifecycle of the project.
  • Participate in firm’s seller-doer culture by developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Maintain quality control on all project deliverables.
  • Provide and teach engineering best practices to project team.
  • Participate in networking events to represent the firm and assist in developing new business.

Skills/Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience on land development projects, including project management responsibilities.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona.
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams.
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with team and clients.
  • Strong land development grading and drainage technical skills and understanding.
  • Ability to travel as needed for meetings and on-site inspections.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, team player, and self-starter.

Entellus is looking for a talented Designer to join our growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity to work with engineers and other designers on land development projects. The successful candidate will have strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience on land development projects (residential, multi-family, commercial, and industrial), good communication skills, and be able to create and conceptualize designs and drawings for a variety of projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Layout and design residential subdivisions both standalone and within a master planned community, as well as work on multifamily, commercial, and industrial projects featuring paving, grading, drainage, water, and sewer design.
  • Complete the final drafting/plan production.
  • Prepare basic engineering calculations in support of the infrastructure design.
  • Review and apply the design standards established by all agencies involved in each project.
  • Coordinate with the project team and other consultants/stakeholders.
  • Work within the scope, schedule, and budget assigned to each project.

Skills/Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of design experience on land development projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams.

Entellus, Inc. is actively seeking a talented Construction Inspector to support our team in Phoenix, Arizona. The position involves day-to-day interfacing with contractors, project team members, our clients, and other technical experts to ensure each project is built according to plans and specifications. Projects will be related to
civil infrastructure, such as roads, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine field inspections for the purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications.
  • Monitor, observe, and record the work performed on a daily basis.
  • Attend various meetings as needed related to projects.
  • Resolve construction field conflicts.
  • Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.
  • Maintain and take care of all company equipment and vehicles.
  • Other duties assigned by Entellus supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a construction-related field.
  • Minimum of an Associates Degree in Construction Engineering or related field.
  • Must have a good driving record and valid drivers license.
  • Experience working on civil infrastructure projects, preferred.
  • OSHA 10-hour construction safety certificate, preferred.
  • NICET, ACI certifications, preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
  • Possess sufficient stamina to work outdoors, especially in Arizona summer temperatures.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to work overtime.

Entellus is seeking an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to assist our clients and staff on a variety of land development projects. In this role, you will prepare drainage, water, and sewer calculations as well as reports for residential subdivisions, multi-family, commercial, and industrial projects. You will also work in Civil 3D and assist designers on various tasks. . 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make calculations, using engineering formulas and skills.
  • Work with designers and drafters to complete drawings for intended design.
  • Perform research and writes reports/opinions.
  • Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects and tasks.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Assist in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project.
  • Prepare design computations and quantity estimates.
  • Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for project.
  • Perform drafting tasks, as needed.
  • May be expected to design portions of a project.
  • May be expected to perform fieldwork.

Skills/Qualifications

  • An Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is required with 3-5 years of experience working on land development projects.
  • Excellent written and communication skills and strong math and science skills.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Ability to prioritize special projects and daily workload to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Entellus currently has a number of exciting projects underway and we are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer with strong technical ability, good communication skills and enthusiasm to join our growing team. This position will require you to work with other engineers, project managers, and technical staff in the production of plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for land development projects such as design of roadways, drainage facilities, site grading, water and sanitary sewer utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design roadway, pedestrian, water/wastewater infrastructure, civil site and related projects.
  • Update designs based on manager and client feedback.
  • Assist in preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and reports.
  • May assist in stormwater planning and management, modeling and design.
  • Coordinate with utility companies during the design process.
  • Conduct site/field inspections of project locations.
  • Perform technical research and investigation.
  • Ensure the accuracy of completed tasks through the use of established Entellus QA/QC processes.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with 5-15 years of experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Utah, or ability to become registered within one year.
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D design package, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with Entellus staff and external clients.
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, etc.
