Land Surveyor - Phoenix, Arizona
Entellus, Inc. is currently seeking qualified Land Surveyors to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. Individuals will be responsible for assisting with the management of our land survey team and interacting daily with our survey crews and office staff. The individual filling this position must have knowledge and understanding of survey operations and the ability to identify potential problems, conduct boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, perform construction layout, and all other duties as assigned. The position also has the opportunity for advancement for motivated individuals willing to learn and help the department grow.
Key Responsibilities
Successful individuals will be able to:
- Positively represent the firm while communicating professionally and regularly with clients and internal staff
- Rely on your sound judgement to think on your feet and make decisions on the fly
- Conduct field and office calculations and sketches; download and check data while being held accountable for the accuracy of all survey documents, including field notes, sketches, plans, etc.
- Estimate fees and budget time and expenses
- Maintain and take care of company equipment and vehicles

Skills/Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated successful, reliable surveying experience
- Knowledge of survey calculations and ability to work in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center and/or Carlson
- Land Surveyor-in-Training or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) in Arizona, preferred
- Must have a good driving record and valid drivers license
- Must be able and comfortable performing field survey tasks
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents
- Ability to prepare calculations, alignments, and instructions for field work
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- A can-do attitude and willingness to work overtime
Project Manager / Project Engineer (PE) - Civil Design - Phoenix, Arizona
Entellus currently has a number of exciting projects underway, and we are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer with strong technical ability, good communication skills, and enthusiasm to join our growing team. This position will require you to work with other engineers, project managers, and technical staff in the production of plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects such as the design of roadways, drainage facilities, site grading, and water and sanitary sewer utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design roadway, pedestrian, water/wastewater infrastructure, civil site, and related projects
- Update designs based on manager and client feedback
- Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, and reports
- May assist in stormwater planning and management, modeling, and design
- Coordinate with utility companies during the design process
- Conduct site/field inspections of project locations
- Perform technical research and investigation
- Ensure the accuracy of completed tasks through the use of established Entellus QA/QC processes
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with 3-7 years of experience
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona, or the ability to become registered within one year

Project Manager / Project Engineer (PE) - Land Development - Phoenix, Arizona
Entellus has a new opportunity for a Land Development Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of project types including residential subdivisions, multi-family, commercial, and industrial sites. The successful candidate is accountable for project performance, ensuring quality control on deliverables, and maintaining strong client relationships through quality deliverables and professional service. This role also provides direction and guidance to junior engineers and technicians assigned to the project manager’s team. This individual will report to the Land Development Discipline Leader.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage scope, schedules, and budgets
- Prepare and manage monthly client invoicing
- Manage and mentor project team
- Manage a variety of land development projects through the entire lifecycle of the project
- Participate in the firm’s seller-doer culture by developing and maintaining client relationships
- Maintain quality control on all project deliverables
- Provide and teach engineering best practices to the project team
- Participate in networking events to represent the firm and assist in developing new business
Skills/Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience on land development projects, including project management responsibilities
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona
- Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams
- Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with team and clients

Entellus currently has a number of exciting projects underway, and we are looking for a full-time Civil or Mechanical Engineer with strong technical ability, good communication skills, and enthusiasm to join our growing water/wastewater group. This position will require you to work with other engineers, project managers, and technical staff in the production of plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects, including the design and construction oversight of water and wastewater infrastructure. These include but are not limited to booster pump stations, water production wells, storage tanks, sewage lift stations, odor control, water/wastewater treatment, and water/sewer lines and force mains. A strong background in water/wastewater infrastructure is preferred.

Project Engineer (PE) - Water Resources - Phoenix, Arizona
Entellus’ Phoenix office is growing, and we are seeking a Civil Engineer to assist our clients and lead water resource projects. Don’t worry if you don’t check all the boxes – we are primarily looking for someone motivated to learn and be part of a fun stormwater and drainage team.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with other Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other staff to perform the following duties:
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses including 2-D modeling
- Perform floodplain mapping and delineations
- Evaluate drainage issues and develop creative solutions
- Help develop drainage master plans
- Design drainage facilities including culverts, storm drains, and more
- Perform research, synthesize data, and write reports
- Assist in client contact and communications for projects and tasks
- Attend client meetings
- Assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work and cost estimates
- May be expected to perform fieldwork
Skills/Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field required
- 4 to 6 years of experience with stormwater projects
- A Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Excellent written and communication skills and strong math and science skills
- Must be able to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software
- Familiarity with ESRI ArcMap
- Experience using HEC-RAS, FLO-2D
- Experience with other hydrology & hydraulics programs
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil3D is also desirable
- Ability to prioritize special projects and daily workload to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required
- Flexibility to work partially remote is also an option
