At Entellus, we believe in making a positive impact on our communities and love to lend a helping hand whenever possible. With the enthusiasm from our team and the support of our Volunteer Committee, we get to engage in a variety of service opportunities throughout the year. Here are some of the recent events Entellus has participated in:
- Adopt-A-Road: In October of 2019, Entellus adopted a section of Thomas Road in Scottsdale, Arizona, as part of the “Keep Scottsdale Beautiful” initiative. Since then, our team has cleaned up this stretch of road on a quarterly basis.
- National Engineers Week: Every February, we honor National Engineers Week to show appreciation for our engineers and inspire future generations to follow in their footsteps. This year, our team members volunteered at local elementary schools and walked them through what a typical day in the life of an engineer is like.
- Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Softball Tournament: This annual softball tournament supports the Carlos Pinto Disinfection Project, which strives to improve water quality, water distribution reliability, and solid waste disposal in their community, as well as provide long-term public health programs. These games are a way for us to give back while having fun and fueling our competitive spirit.
It is truly amazing to see how much we can accomplish when we work as a team. Entellus has many more service events planned for the year, and we are so excited to continue our commitment to volunteerism.
