Freeport‐McMoran, operating the Bagdad Mine located in western Yavapai County, Arizona, requested for a portion of an 115kV transmission line to be relocated by Arizona Public Service (APS) to a new corridor.

As part of this project, Entellus provided design engineering services for approximately 3.6 miles of access roadway within Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) lands. The project included the construction of new roads, spurs, turnarounds, and equipment pads. One major challenge on this project was the mitigation of 404 washes through the project area.
