The City of Mesa was interested in widening this stretch of roadway to provide two through lanes and a bike lane in each direction, as well as street lighting, signals, and landscaping.
Our team refined and improved on the geometric design while reducing right-of-way costs and construction impacts. The City also received funding from The Flood Control District of Maricopa County (Small Starts Projects) to resolve historical flooding problems along Broadway Road. Entellus performed a drainage study, provided alternatives, and designed storm drain improvements to correct the drainage problems which plagued the area for the last few years.
