Over the last few years, our team has been working alongside the City of Phoenix to complete design for improvements to various railroad crossings of existing roadways.

Our team has obtained all permits necessary to survey the project site and establish survey control, including identifying railroad right-of-way, base mapping, as-builts, and utility mapping. Roadway improvements were designed in conjunction with a new railroad gate mast arms and signals. The improvements bring the crossings into ADA-compliance with current standards, including pedestrian crossing modifications, curb and gutter, track crossing material, coordination of railroad access requirements, signage and striping, grading and drainage, utility coordination and relocation, and identification of additional rights-of-way and easement requirements. Additionally, Entellus also prepared detailed cost estimates to support the Federal funding approval.
